D.A.R.E.

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force
The NH ICAC Task Force is responsible for providing assistance to local and federal law enforcement partners to investigate cases of child sexual exploitation involving the use of technology throughout the State of New Hampshire.  Crimes that are investigated include child prostitution, online solicitation of minors, and the possession, manufacturing and distribution of child sexual abuse images.  The Task Force enables law enforcement agencies to work together to acquire the technical skills, specialized equipment, and resources to effectively investigate and prosecute offenders.

Police Cadet Academy
The New Hampshire Police Cadet Training Academy is designed to help young persons aged 14 to 20 develop skills and knowledge of law enforcement and to refine life skills for the future.  The Cadet Academy is a 3 year program, consisting of the Basic Academy, the Advanced Academy and the Leadership Academy.

The mission of the New Hampshire Police Cadet Training Academy is to build qualities such as self-discipline, self-respect, self-esteem and pride, through respect, discipline, teamwork and motivation.

Cadets participate in a week long residential, paramilitary law enforcement style training experience. Cadets participate in physical training, drill and ceremony, and attend classes similar to those attended by New Hampshire Police Officers while in the Academy.

Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit
Research has shown that a well trained and equipped team handling high risk calls or critical incidents, increases the likelihood that a situation will be resolved successfully. This in turn minimizes the risk of life or injury to civilians and the police officers who protect them.

The Central New Hampshire Special Operations Unit (CNHSOU) is a regional law enforcement team made up of police officers who receive specialized training from some of the top law enforcement agencies in the country in SWAT Tactics, Critical Incident Management and Crisis Negotiations.
