The hiring process for Group II (Security Staff) employees will include at a minimum:

The department will conduct a criminal record check on all new employees, contractors, and volunteers prior to their assuming duties, to identify whether there are criminal convictions that have a specific relationship to job performance.

Please note, any correctional officer applicant over the age of 45 or who meets other special requirements listed in the PT Consent Form will require a doctor's note authorizing their physical agility test prior to participating in a hiring process. Please review this form, prior to agreeing to participate.
