Community Involvement

  • Beards for Bucks - Every October, law enforcement agencies throughout New Hampshire show their support for their local Advocacy Centers by participating in the only annual statewide fundraiser specifically for New Hampshire Child Advocacy Centers.  Funds are often used to improve advocacy center operations and support the ability to provide a safe, trauma informed, and supportive environment for the children and families who visit the advocacy center.
  • Hands of Hope - Every year the Merrimack County Advocacy Center celebrates with the entire network of Child Advocacy Centers throughout the state at the annual Hands of Hope event, to recognize the dedication and hard work of multidisciplinary team members.  Each year, every county selects and honors their own “Everyday Hero”, someone who embodies leadership, ingenuity, kindness, and who is steadfast in their commitment to serving the vulnerable victim population.
  • Paint the County Blue - April represents Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness month.  In an effort to raise awareness and show support for these initiatives, a day is selected to “Paint the County Blue” by wearing blue clothing/ribbons.  Participants are encouraged to share their photos with the Merrimack County Advocacy Center!
  • Other - Whether it be a National Night Out event or a local community Old Home Day, we love to get out of the office and educate communities, empower victims, and encourage justice.  Give us a call at (603) 219-0627 if there is room for us at your event.
