Volunteering at
Merrimack County Nursing Home

The Volunteer Department of the Merrimack County Nursing Home is always interested in talking to folks over the age of thirteen who might be interested in Volunteering at any of the various opportunities that are available. All that is necessary is for the prospective Volunteer to have a desire to interact with the Residents of the facility in such a way that it will be a rewarding experience for both the Resident and the Volunteer.

Time spent can be a couple or many hours per week; day or evening. To discuss one or more of the following opportunities feel free to call the Volunteer Department at 796-2165 ext 242 to hear the whole story:

Transport Residents to various activities.
Visit with Residents on a one on one basis.
Deliver CD’s, DVD’s, Books & Greeting Cards to Residents.
Work in the Gift Shop.
Visit Residents with your “well behaved” dog.
